Three Portable Mobile Broadband are the newest supplier of mobile portable broadband in the UK and though they are not covering the whole of the UK yet, they do provide excellent services and are a good buy for anyone living in prime signal areas. This internet facility is very suitable for anyone living in main UK towns and cities as signal strengths are more than suitable -Excellent in towns and cities but not so good in more rural and less populated areas. |

Though Three 3G Portable Broadband coverage is not the best among the mobile networks available in the UK, they are working on getting a better signal to their UK customers and they have told us that extensive improvements to their network are underway and should be complete approx by March 2009.
We have tested the 3G products ourselves and made our own purchases. From our own personal testing, our only advice for the UK consumer is to only purchase 3G mobile broadband ONLY if you live in a town or a city area that has a good signal coverage area otherwise you will more than likely struggle with the connection and this can get very frustrating.
BUT in an area with a good mobile signal, once connected with even as low as 2 bars on the signal strength, you should be quite happy with the connection they provide BUT we do strongly recommend that you test your area and fully question 3G BEFORE you make a purchase as you could be disappointed with the broadband connection.
The Broadband Supplies overall rating is - 7 out of 10 but only due to the lack of UK coverage.
Customer service is excellent and any problems are swiftly dealt with, delivery of the free laptops is faster than any of the other networks and any problems with the modem and it’s courier collected and then a replacement to your door withing a few days.
Anyone who takes on 3G portable broadband and live in a good signal area should experience a high quality service with very little to moan about.
